The work emerged from the challenge of translating the static archives of the Natural Sciences Museum into an immersive reality. Antarctica is a unique natural laboratory where the purity of the wilderness meets the inevitable traces of human presence. We designed an immersive ecosystem that shifts the user from observation to interaction. By integrating computer vision, capacitive sensors, and video mapping on physical prisms, the user’s body becomes the primary interface.
